Observations of the Uranian ring system made during the occultation of Bd -19 deg 4222 by Uranus on April 26, 1981 are reported. The photometric measurements were obtained at Kavalur and Nainital, India and used to compute positions of the occulting segments in the ring plane based on the pole of Elliot et al. (1981). The dimensions and extinctions of the three rings detected (gamma, delta and epsilon) confirm measurements of other occultation events, and are in concordance with the model of Elliot et al.
