Measurements of the isotopic composition of uranium in five meteorites are reported. It is found that uranium in the meteorites analyzed is a mixture of components of widely different U-238/U-235 ratios. One component of terrestrial, or near terrestrial, isotopic composition is usually present at the normal abundance level. The others with lower measured U-238/U-235 ratios are present in low abundance in the whole meteorite.
