Cosmic Rays:Solar Modulation

Scientific paper

It is shown, from the data obtained during two complete sunspot cycles, that a 22 yr variation in the phase of the cosmic ray quasi-quinquennial wave exists. The changes of this variation in cosmic ray intensity as a function of a corresponding solar activity variation show that the phase lag between these two waves is changing over the solar activity cycle. The results are interpreted in terms of the solar magnetic field inversion.
