The Uhuru catalog of X-ray sources is used to examine the latitude dependence of the galactic X-ray emitters. No preference for any plane other than the galactic equator is exhibited. However, the bright and faint sources have distinctly different dispersions about the plane. This may be related to the possible existence of two distinct classes of galactic X-ray sources, with the faint sources nearby and radiating of the order of 10 to the 33rd power erg/sec in the 2-10-keV range. The X-ray burst sources and the strong galactic-center objects have almost identical dispersions.
