Five instruments (Bragg Spectrometer, Large Area Proportional and
Scintillation Counter Detectors, Wide Field X-ray Cameras and a
Gamma-Ray Burst Monitor) are discussed and estimates of their
performance are given. Their scientific aims are summarized and sample
observing programmes are discussed.
