Conjectured modes of origin of black holes (BH), spontaneous particle creation near BH, violations of conservation laws in BH, and BH thermodynamics are surveyed. Superradiant scattering on BH, possible extraction of energy from BH by exploiting superradiant scattering, and analogy between stimulated emission and superradiant scattering are discussed; uniqueness of the Kerr solutions of Einstein field equations is stated. Spin-down of BH to de-excited rotational states, violation of baryonic and leptonic conservation, BH evaporation, and formation of BH via gravitational collapse of neutron stars, or gravitational collapse of supermassive bodies, or as primordial BH, are discussed, and fundamental theoretical puzzles are indicated.
