Three site observations of interplanetary scintillations are used to estimate the dispersion in diffraction-pattern velocity. The mean velocity and dispersion change considerably from day to day. For the eight source days analyzed, the standard deviation of velocity varied from 17% to 37% of the mean. If the temporal spectrum is used to estimate the spatial spectrum, then to the extent that the dispersion in diffraction-pattern velocity is not constant, a correction must be applied. This may occur for frequencies below 1 Hz.
