Predictions for the intensities of accompanied particles in ground level detectors have been calculated by using a Monte Carlo method for the simulation of hadron cascades in the atmosphere. Estimates for the intensities of all hadrons and of groups of more than one hadron per square meter are given. Also the pion-to-nucleon ratio has been determined as a function of primary energy. The results are compared with experimental measurements made with a hadron spectrometer.
