The solar high energy particle events are investigated in relation with the experimental comprehensive solar flare indices. As expected, higher associations are seen for flares of higher indices. Also, the association is higher for western longitudes. It is realized that the index has significant longitude effect. The longitude distributions of both the event and the index are displayed after a simple correction for the longitude effect.
