Published observational data on 57 galactic supernova remnants (SNRs) are compiled and used to calculate their approximate distances. The estimation methods used (depending on the type of data available) are described, and the results are presented in a table. Anomalies and wide discrepancies with previous distance estimates are discussed in notes. These SNRs can be used as calibration sources for radio observations, and the distance estimates provide a basis for further investigations of the evolution and characteristics of SNRs.
