A blue object has been identified whose position coincides with an X-ray source found by the HEAO-B satellite. The apparent blue magnitude is about 19 m, and the red magnitude is approximately 20.0 m. The object is marginally visible in B plates and invisible on V plates of the same limit. Whether this stellar-looking optical counterpart to the X-ray source is of galactic or extragalactic nature remains an open question. In any case, it must be radio-quiet to the detection limit of the Ohio radio source catalogue limit.
