The scientific meetings of the Spanish Astronomical Society take place every two years, and they are a major event for the Spanish Astronomical community. Typically, there are over 350 participants and more than 200 oral and poster presentations accommodated in parallel and plenary sessions. Presentations are given by active national and international researchers working in Spanish institutions. In addition, some well-known scientists all around the world are invited to review their fields of research. Most astrophysical topics (from Cosmology to the small bodies of the Solar System) are covered during the 5-day duration of these meeting.
