Conditions of cosmic ray propagation in interplanetary space were used to obtain precise equations for the relative values of diurnal variation harmonics. Equations are derived for the harmonics of diurnal variations and it is assumed that the recorders used for measurement receive radiation in the solar equatorial plane. Experimental data are used for directions close to the solar equatorial plane. The formulas allow more detailed study of the mechanism of the second harmonic of magnetized particles. Harmonics through the fourth are calculated.
