The authors have studied line profiles for O stars on or close to the
main sequence in the young galactic cluster NGC 6530. P Cygni profiles
are seen for Teff > 36000K. Different stars show, however,
different lines and different outflow velocities. The degree of
ionization in the wind appears to depend on Teff.
