A dedicated echelle spectrograph has been used on the Anglo-Australian telescope to obtain profiles of the [O III] emission line along three parallel lines each 238 pc long over the face of the 30 Doradus nebula. Many sheets, 10 - 50 pc across, of ionized material have been found each having a separate radial velocity. Superimposed on these motions are those produced by several shells, 15 pc in diameter, expanding at 200 km s-1. If these are pressure-driven bubbles they must be ⪉2×104yr old and could be a consequence of stellar winds from individual Wolf-Rayet stars in the halo of 30 Doradus. Also, a large number of small shells, ≡2.5 pc in diameter, are present which are expanding at ≡25 km s-1. These again must be young, 4.8×104yr old, but most likely formed by the low power winds from minor O and B stars. Very extensive, systematic trends in separate velocity components are also found in the halo of 30 Doradus. These could be the manifestations of shells of ⪉100 pc in diameter, expanding radially at 35 km s-1.
