We have observed SN 2007on (Pollas & Klotz, CBET #1121) using the HIRES spectrograph mounted on the 10-m Keck I telescope on Nov. 6 UT, 2007, under bad conditions (clouds). Analysis of a heavily-binned preliminary reduction of the spectral orders covering the area 5800-6700 Ang reveals a deep absorption trough around 6100 Ang, typical for young SNe Ia.
