We studied the environment of the Cataclysmic Variable EY Cyg with direct images obtained in Hα. We were motivated by the very unusual light curve of this extremely long orbital period and extremely low inclination CV, which could be an indication of a common envelope around the object. The complex Hα emission at the background complicates the identification of nebular emission associated with EY Cyg.
