An investigation is conducted of claims in the recent literature for the existence of a large-scale (out to z equal to or greater than 1) anisotropy in the properties of extragalactic radio sources in the universe. It is concluded, from an independent analysis of a new, enhanced sample of radio sources, that there is no evidence for a large-scale anisotropy of this type, or for universal rotation.
