Step two commonly used long slits {52x0.1 and 52x0.2} across a star, moving the star out of the slit to sample the PSF. Make spectroscopic images using G750L to cover a broad wavelength range. For chosen wavelength intervals, the relative fluxes in each slit position and spectral row can be compared to the values predicted using TinyTim models. It is important to verify these models since they are used as input in the dynamical modelling of spectral images; e.g., in the dynamical modelling of galactic nuclei.
