In the present work, with the help of fully 3-D smooth particle
magnetohydodynamic (SPMHD) simulations, we explore the nonlinear effects of
magnetic fields (in close equipartition with the gas) in the structure of
radiatively cooling, overdense jets and test their importance on the dynamics
of protostellar jets.
