Many astrophysical systems can be approximated as isothermal spheres. In an
isothermal sphere, the ``foreground'' objects can act as lenses on
``background'' objects in the same distribution. We study gravitational lensing
by a singular isothermal sphere analytically. Our results may have interesting
applications.
