We show the existence of geometrically rigid smooth curves of different
degrees and genera in Calabi-Yau threefolds that are complete intersections in
homogeneous spaces. In the special cases of
Calabi-Yau complete intersections in projective spaces, our results are an
improvement of previously known results.
