Numerical calculations are carried out to obtain the spectral profiles of the intensity and polarization of radiation from spontaneous quantum single-photon electron transitions in a strong magnetic field (e.g., in neutron stars and gamma-ray-burst sources). The thermal distribution of the electrons and the natural line width are considered. It is noted that the results obtained may be useful in evaluating the physical parameters of gamma-ray-burst sources.
