Data on properties and compositions of interstellar dust particles are summarized. The main physical and chemical processes involved in the formation and subsequent evolution of particles as well as astrophysical objects where these processes take place are described. Data showing that carbonaceous chondrites and unmetamorphosed ordinary chondrite Semarcona LL3.0 both contain carbonaceous phases enriched in D due to the formation of deuterized molecules on the surface of interstellar dust particles are discussed. Consideration is given to the thermal influence on interstellar dust particles due to viscosity dissipation inside the accretional disk and shock waves generated during proto-sun collapse. A new model illustrating the formation of chondrules from the energy of 'chemical' explosions in the mantle of particles containing high-reactionable materials is proposed. It is suggested that solar wind played a significant role in the transformation of interstellar dust particles, especially at the early stages of proto-sun evolution.
