An exact analysis of the unsteady free and forced convection flow of an incompressible viscous fluid past a porous plate is presented in presence of a constant heat source. A solution is derived by the Laplace-transform technique. Velocity profiles, skin-friction, and leading edge effects are obtained. The effects of S (heat source parameter), lambda (suction parameter) on velocity, skin-friction, and leading edge effect are discussed.
