Detailed surface photometric data are presented for up to 203 galaxies in the central region of the cluster of galaxies Abell 1689. The data, which include total magnitudes, total colors, color gradients, surface-brightness parameters, and radius parameters, were obtained at effective wavelengths of 5805 and 7966 A with an imaging CCD system and analyzed to remove the effects of overlapping images and seeing. The results are discussed in the context of luminosity and dynamical evolution.
