Radio recombination lines determine the radial gas flow from the star MWC349A. The flow is described by a beta law with β =5, a terminal velocity of 34 km/s, and a mass loss of approximately 10-6 solar masses per year. Such a flow could also be the result of evaporation from the circumstellar disk surrounding the star. The implied recession velocity of MWC349A is approximately 12 km/s.
