We present the 3.6 and 4.5 micron cluster luminosity functions measured from the Spitzer Deep Wide Field Survey (SDWFS) for 0.21.3) deviate from the best fitting passive evolution model to the low redshift data at the 5 sigma level, and this discrepancy is consistent with the expected signature from galaxy assembly. We conclude that assembly of massive cluster galaxies is largely complete by z 1.3, and that their stellar populations are consistent with a luminosity weighted mean formation redshift z 2.
