We present new high resolution X-ray spectra in the 0.1 - 0.7 keV energy range from L-shell sulfur ions produced by charge exchange (CX) with He atoms at the Lawrence Livermore National Laboratory's Electron beam ion trap (EBIT-I) and measured with the NASA/GSFC EBIT Calorimeter Spectrometer (ECS). We discuss the results and focus mainly on the differences between the new spectra and spectra from sulfur ions following CX with SF6 molecules previously obtained with the EBIT and ECS. Part of this work was prepared by Lawrence Livermore National Laboratory under Contract DE-AC52-07NA27344. We also gratefully acknowledge funding through NASA's laboratory astrophysics program.
