We present our recent observations of the HH 270 region with BIMA array in the 13CO and C18O 1-0 lines. The HH 270 Herbig-Haro jet is driven by a protostar in the L1617 cloud. From previous HCO+ line observations, we found that the emission is enhanced along the jet axis, but no evidence of mechanical disturbance was found. By comparing the line intensities of HCO+, 13CO, and C18O, we investigate possible molecular line enhancement mechanisms. We also discuss the infall motion in the dense core containing the driving source of the outflow. We acknowledge partial support from NSC grants 89-2112-M-001-061 and 91-2112-M-001-045.
