Models of some gravitationally lensed (GL) systems require a strong external shear in addition to the potential of the lensing galaxy to reproduce positions and flux ratios of the lensed images, particularly for widely-separated, asymmetric systems. The shear may be from a galaxy cluster or group associated with the lensing galaxy. We are searching for X-ray emission from putative lensing clusters in the fields of strong GLs using Chandra's resolving power to separate the GL from diffuse emission. Searching for clusters based on mass rather than galaxy luminosity can better sample the cluster M/L ratio distribution. Constraining the distribution of diffuse gas and dark matter in the vicinity of GLs will improve mass models used to compute the Hubble constant from time delays. We present fluxes and flux limits on diffuse cluster emission in the fields of strong GLs observed by Chandra.
