Models for structure formation predict the existence of cuspy dark matter halos. Those halos seem to have problems explaining the central regions of galactic rotation curves. It was recently suggested a scenario of a satellite orbiting a larger halo and exciting resonances deep inside the cusp of the main halo, which results in a strong absorption of the satellite angular momentum and eventually in the cusp disruption. Using different numerical techniques we show that this does not happen. Dynamical Friction in cuspy halos clearly shows a resonant contribution. Low order resonances create a density perturbation but this is not going deep inside he cusp. Instead resonances affect mostly particles at distances close to the sinking satellite.
