A comprehensive analysis is performed with the data taken by HMI and AIA aboard the SDO, to study the evolutionary characteristics of the solar active regions. With the pipeline products produced by the AIA/HMI Joint Scientific Operation Center (JSOC), we estimate the free energy and magnetic helicity that eject into the corona due to the magnetic emerging processing and the surface flow on the photosphere. An analysis is also conducted to discuss which processing is more important for energy buildup in the corona and development of instability. Finally we discuss the changes of magnetic field configuration and occurrences of the eruption that are the possible consequences of those processings.
