The Solar Dynamic Observatory carries two instruments, AIA and EVE, that include spectral windows in the X-ray/EUV band ( 15-170A). Accuracy in the atomic data in this wavelength range is essential for the interpretation of the solar EUV irradiance data from EVE and of the variability of the high temperature corona. Here we carry out a detailed benchmark of X-ray/EUV data in the CHIANTI 6.0.1 database to assess their completeness and accuracy. Given the paucity of solar observations, we use high-resolution X-ray spectra of the low-activity corona of Procyon obtained with the Low Energy Transmission Grating Spectrometer onboard Chandra.
