The GONG far-side maps identify regions of predicted sunspots, together with a measure of the accuracy of the prediction. These predictions are compared against simultaneous STEREO images at 195A over a period from August 2009 to the present. Many of the GONG predictions are confirmed by the STEREO images, while a smaller number are shown to be false predictions. The majority of predictions fall into the region currently unobserved by STEREO.
