Supporting searching and rescuing for the objects in danger is a very important civil service of Galileo Navigation Satellite System. This paper introduces the basic principles of the subsystem SAR of the GALILEO searching and rescuing system. It describes the orientation method for these two kinds of measurement signals in detail. Based on the multi-sensor data fusion technology, we make an integrated state estimation on different measurement signals of the SAR system. In the simulated calculations, we use the measurement data with the noise to orient. The calculated results show that basing on the multi-sensor data the integrated state estimation is reliable.
