We present very early and complete optical and near-infrared observations of the photometrically normal Type Ia supernova 2002fk. Our observations fill some gaps of previous optical photometry (Riess et al. 2009a) and make SN 2002fk one of the best observed to date. We applied S-corrections to our observations and the published photometry in order to bring all observations into the same photometric system. Different multi-wavelength methods are consistent with low Galactic reddening and no host galaxy extinction. SN 2002fk is particularly interesting given that the distance to the host galaxy was recently determined using cepheids (Riess et al. 2009b). Combining this with our early and complete multi-wavelength photometry makes SN 2002fk extremely useful for testing explosion models and improving distance scale calibration of Type Ia supernovae.
