OJ287 is a BL Lac object that has shown double-peaked bursts at regular intervals of about 12 years during the last 40 years. We present photopolarimetric monitoring during the latest phase of massive outburst . We discuss variability patterns and statistical properties as well as different models proposed to explain the regularly appearing outbursts in OJ287.
