Radiative Transfer: Computing
Scientific paper
The polynomials gml(ξ) introduced by
Chandrasekhar in regard to a discrete-ordinates solution of the
radiative transfer equation are discussed, and methods for evaluating
these polynomials accurately in high order and high degree on the real
line are reported.
