The behavior of the green and red corona during cycle 21 is examined, including the north-south asymmetry and the relationship between the asymmetry and the phase of the solar activity cycle. The relationship between the north-south asymmetry and the corona ionization temperature determined from the ratio of green and red coronae is examined. Consideration is given to the dependence of the green asymmetry distribution on the heliographic latitude and the possible peiodicity of the green asymmetry.
