The emission of gravitational waves by the ultrafast pulsar relic of supernova SN1987A, at a frequency of 1968.629 Hz is described. Stability and statistical arguments strongly suggest the emission of detectable, periodic gravitational (synchrotron) radiation at first and second harmonic. If these predictions are not experimentally confirmed, an unknown population of ultrafast pulsars in our galaxy should be looked for.
