Analytic and semianalytic solutions to evolutionary equations for star-forming viscous disks have been obtained. It is demonstrated that approximately-exponential stellar surface density profiles result if the viscous time scale is comparable to the star-formation time scale everywhere in the disk. The results suggest that the initial gas surface density distribution must be fairly regular in order to produce final exponential stellar surface density profiles.
