Longitudinal and spatial distribution curves are obtained for particles and Cerenkov light from electromagnetic cascades by the Monte Carlo method. Also obtained are temporal distributions of Cerenkov light. It is shown that the fraction of Cerenkov light in the central part of the cascade is significantly greater than that determined in analytical calculations. Gamma showers can be distinguished from other shower types according to the Cerenkov pulse shape.
