It is shown that the hard X-ray emission (above 10 keV) of Cas A can be explained by the bremsstrahlung of the electrons accelerated by the regular mechamism at the shock front. This is probably the first confirmation that the acceleration process in supernova remnants arises from thermal energies. The values obtained for the electron acceleration efficiency, equal to 0.008 for Cas A, to 0.0001 for Tycho, are close to the usually accepted one. The value of the electron diffusion coefficient in the vicinity of the supernova remnants is established. The necessity of X-ray and gamma observations of the young supernova remnants, especially of Cas A in the energy ranges 20-200 keV and 50-100 MeV is stressed.
