Spectrophotometric observations of elliptical galaxy nuclei, SO nuclei, and SO disks obtained with an intensified image dissector scanner (IIDS) are presented. The 12 normal ellipticals observed spanned 7 mag in luminosity and included a wide range of line strengths in early-type systems. The SO disk spectra are of discrete disk locations and are not disk-plus-bulge integrated light spectra. The spectrophotometry and supplementary broad-band photometry are described and the effect of the nonlinearity of the IIDS on the flux calibrations is considered. The results of a principal component analysis of the normal ellipticals show that the sample is a one parameter family in line strength and color.
