The available information for 581 galaxies in the area of the Hydra I ( = Abell 1060) cluster is compiled into a catalog. Positions, magnitudes, diameters, position angles, radial velocities, and morphological types are given. A first determination of the luminosity function of Hydra I is attempted. An assessment of the photometric errors in the isophotal magnitudes is included.
