The photometric monitoring of Nova V1494 Aql at the Sternberg Astronomical Institute and at the Special Astrophysical Observatory in July and September 2002 has confirmed that the star is an eclipsing system. Its orbital period was improved, 0.1346141(5) days. Light elements and eight mid-eclipse times are given. The light-curve shape suggests that the star is an intermediate polar.
