A quasi-absolute method of deriving corrections in declination and right ascension with respect to declination for fundamental stars is described. It is assumed that in the equatorial zone the corrections are zero. Corrections for near-polar stars are obtained from observations at two culminations according to given formulas. Between the equator and the pole the corrections are linearly interpolated, and the straight-line deviations of the instrument-catalog differences are averaged for different nights and used for obtaining final corrections. The best material for this method is provided by series of fundamental stars along the whole arc of the meridian, including lower culminations.
