In this paper we study the propagation of coupled electromagnetic and gravitational waves near a charged black hole by means of Moncrief's formalism. The transmission and reflection coefficients of the normal modes are calculated in the high-frequency and low-frequency limits. Then we calculate the electromagnetic and gravitational absorption cross-sections and conversion cross-sections of the black hole.
