The seventeen comets observed in the course of 1975 are discussed. These comprise six new short period comets, four periodic comets whose return was expected, three new comets with elliptical orbits, three new comets with parabolic orbits, and one new comet with a hyperbolic orbit (Kobayashi-Berger-Milon). Observations made of each of these are summarized, with special attention to the West and Kobayashi-Berger-Milon comets.
